Clean hotel, services were good and location was stunning and favourable in front of the waterfalls. Location: the property was near the dramatic slate " ledges ", and Lake Wallenpaupack. Also, I was within 15 minute stroll from Bingham Park. Outstanding food in the in-house restaurant was the best part.

I also appreciated the early check-in which allowed me to settle in before heading out for a hike around the area. Dining options were enjoyable, especially the diverse menu catering to all tastes.

The views of the falls from our queen room were amazing. We loved the friendly staff. A quick hike to shuman's point was nearby, and we enjoyed our breakfast at the coffee shop, much better than the buffet at settler's inn. Perfect getaway for a couple!

The views of the waterfalls were amazing. The outdoor space featured multiple decks. I enjoyed the breakfast at Café Cocoon, especially the fresh croissants. The staff stood out. Barb and Jasmine provided a warm welcome every time I walked in. My room was clean and cozy, with soft sheets that felt luxurious. I had minor issues with noise from the restaurant below, especially in the morning when people were arriving. My shower had some dated fixtures that could use an update. Despite these inconveniences, the overall atmosphere was like a hidden gem. I can't wait to come back in the summer to see more of what this place has to offer.

The staff were accommodating, allowing an early check-in which facilitated my work schedule. The room was well-maintained. The picturesque location, overlooking the waterfalls, provided a unique backdrop for relaxation after a long day of meetings. The dining experience was good, especially the diverse menu options that catered well to business travelers.
Some bathroom fixtures appeared dated, and the shower gel dispenser was empty.

We enjoyed visiting the Dorflinger Factory Museum. The rooms were comfortable, and the views were fine. The waterfall behind the hotel is perfect. Just a heads up , some rooms can be a bit noisy, so consider requesting a quieter area if that matters to you. Definitely recommend it.
Unfortunately, we had some issues with the room on our first night. The AC quit working and we were told it was our fault, frustrating. While they offered a fan, it was still a disappointing experience to deal with.

Beautiful Scenery, but Service Needs Improvement
The fine waterfalls create a serene atmosphere. Enjoy relaxing at the bar with lovely handcrafted drinks. Just be mindful of their closing times. Be sure to request your room type in advance for a better experience.

The beautiful waterfall view right outside was such a treat, and we had a blast visiting the Dorflinger Factory Museum nearby. Especially Barb.
In my kids' opinion, having more activities for children would be great.
